Build the maps — and the software behind them

Web, desktop and mobile mapping on ArcGIS, QGIS, Mapbox and open-source stacks.

You'll work on

• ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript and Native apps, Experience Builder, Dashboards
• QGIS plugins (PyQGIS) and QGIS Server / QField workflows
• Mapbox GL JS / MapLibre viewers, vector-tile pipelines, 3D scenes
• PostGIS schemas, spatial queries and GeoServer/pg_tileserv services

We look for

• Solid JavaScript/TypeScript or Python
• Understanding of projections, geometry types and spatial indexing
• Experience with at least one of ArcGIS, QGIS, Mapbox, Leaflet or Cesium
• Curiosity about how map data is produced, stored and served

Native iOS and Android or cross-platform apps — often with offline maps and sensors.

You'll work on

• Swift/SwiftUI and Kotlin/Jetpack Compose apps
• Flutter and React Native apps with native modules
• Offline-first storage and sync, background location, BLE and camera
• App Store and Play releases, crash triage and store optimisation

We look for

• Shipped apps you can show us in a store
• Comfort with platform lifecycle, memory and performance tooling
• One native platform in depth, or one cross-platform framework plus native basics
• Care for accessibility and polish

Next.js and React frontends with Node.js, NestJS or Laravel backends — usually with a map in the middle.

You'll work on

• Next.js App Router applications, design systems and dashboards
• REST/GraphQL APIs on NestJS or Fastify; Laravel where it fits
• PostgreSQL/PostGIS, Redis, queues and real-time feeds
• Docker, CI/CD and cloud deployments

We look for

• Strong TypeScript and React fundamentals
• Backend experience with a relational database
• Attention to performance, accessibility and security
• Bonus: PHP/Laravel or spatial data experience

Electron and Flutter Desktop tools for Windows, macOS and Linux — GIS utilities, consoles, hardware companions.

You'll work on

• Electron apps with typed IPC, local SQLite/GeoPackage and GDAL processing
• Flutter Desktop apps sharing code with mobile
• Serial/USB/BLE integrations with GNSS receivers and sensors
• Signed installers, auto-update and enterprise distribution

We look for

• TypeScript/React or Dart/Flutter experience
• Comfort with filesystems, processes and OS packaging
• Interest in geospatial data formats and offline workflows

Manual and automated testing across mobile, web, API and performance — including map behaviour.

You'll work on

• Test plans and exploratory testing for mobile, web and desktop releases
• Automation with Playwright, Detox/Appium or Patrol
• API and performance testing; regression suites in CI
• Device-lab testing on rugged and consumer devices

We look for

• Structured thinking and clear bug reports
• Some scripting ability (TypeScript, Python or Dart)
• Experience testing real releases, ideally store apps

Interfaces for field crews, control rooms and consumers — dense data made usable.

You'll work on

• Wireframes, prototypes and design systems in Figma
• Map-centric UI: layer panels, legends, forms, dashboards
• Accessibility, dark/light theming and handoff to engineers
• Brand and logo work for products

We look for

• A portfolio showing shipped product work
• Systems thinking: components, tokens, states
• Ability to design for touch, keyboard and rugged screens
